Valentine's Day

Popsicle Valentine Puzzles

This may be a stolen idea, but it's so clever, I have to post this.  This is one craft I will have to admit to actually trying last Valentine's Day, and I actually enjoyed making it.

This craft is very simple, but can get messy.
Here are the necessities:

  • Popsicle sticks (you can buy a box, there is no need to eat a dozen popsicles!)
  • old newspapers (for the imminent messiness that could ensue)
  • acrylic paint  (you can use any colors you want, but what is Valentine's Day without reds, pinks, and white?)
  1. First things first, you will need to lay out your popsicle sticks either horizontally or vertically, and it would be your choice of how big you want your puzzle to be (hence how many sticks you want to use).
  2. Paint your sticks a color of your choice and allow to dry
  3. Once dry, paint a design (Valentine's in mind, perhaps?), making sure you keep your sticks together while you paint. Allow to dry a second time
  4. HAVE FUN WITH YOUR PUZZLE!!
This craft is so easy to make, you could make dozens of puzzles for every occasion!
